Usagi and her friends join Rei for an island holiday. There, Chibi Usa gets lost at sea and encounters an unusual creature.

Octave

(Fukai Misa)

A Daimon overseen by Kaolinite, created from the fusion of a migratory Daimon Egg with a violin belonging to famous violinist Igarashi Takuzou. Octave's head and torso resembled a violin, with a set of strings stretched vertically across her front. Her black star insignia was located on her stomach, and was revealed when she parted her strings. Her main weapon was a bow which, when rubbed along her strings, caused her to emit a piercing, debilitating sonic wave.

Octave emerged from Igarashi's violin mid-performance, and used her sonic powers to stun both the violinist and most of the audience. She extracted his Pure Heart Crystal and made a hasty exit, but was intercepted by the Sailor Team. Releasing another sonic burst, she managed to temporarily paralyse them, but was stopped by Tuxedo Kamen. Sailor Jupiter then attacked with Sparkling Wide Pressure, but the Daimon dodged, allowing the attack to hit the building behind her. Not wanting to harm anyone else, the Sailor Team found themselves unable to attack. However, Octave was suddenly struck by Sailor Neptune's Deep Submerge. She recovered and aimed her sonic wave at Sailor Neptune, but Sailor Moon intervened to pull Sailor Neptune out of the way. Meanwhile, Sailor Uranus attacked the Daimon with World Shaking, further weakening her. Sailor Moon then used Moon Spiral Heart Attack to finish the Daimon off. Octave reverted to the form of a violin, expelling the Daimon Egg. (093)

A strip of paper sometimes used for the purposes of exorcism. Hino Rei frequently used ofuda bearing the phrase “Aku Ryo Tai San” to banish evil spirits. (010) After her awakening as Sailor Mars, she used the ofuda to perform the attack of the same name. (011)

(Shimakata Junko)

The daughter of Ohara Kurahisa and Ohara Mimi, and owner of Rhett Butler. She was investigated by the Sailor Senshi and attacked by Zoisite, both parties believing that she was the holder of a Rainbow Crystal. In fact, the crystal was inside Rhett Butler. Zoisite's attack left her unconscious, so the Sailor Senshi took her home, worried that she may be attacked again. Tsukino Usagi was pleased to discover that she had a copy of Sailor V: The Game. Eventually, the girls realised that Rhett Butler had the Rainbow Crystal, and left to fight the revived Youma Bakene. After returning Rhett Butler to normal, they reunited him with his concerned owner. (031)

OH! Female Musical Group Photo Book

A takarazuka-style book, featuring photographs of attractive female performers in male costumes, owned by Hino Rei. When Rei and her friends were discussing Kino Makoto's possible crush on Tenoh Haruka, Tsukino Usagi produced the book as evidence that Rei had similar leanings. (096)

The publication in which Mizuno Ami's top mock exam ranking was printed. Urawa Ryou kept a cutting of the story as a memento of Ami. (027)

Old Chess Man

(Saka Osamu)

The wealthy owner of the Chess Tower and a friend of Mizuno Ami's grandfather. He He often played against Ami, and hosted the World Chess Tournament in his building. Although he was a very skilled and accomplished player, Ami was at least as talented as he was, if not more so. (071)

Omega Zone

A defensive perimeter established around the ruins of Mugen Academy by Mistress 9, in preparation for the coming of Pharaoh 90. It consisted of a domed energy shield with a star-shaped hole in the top. The outside of the shield was protected by a sea of undifferentiated Daimons which engulfed any intruders. The further expansion of the perimeter was prevented by Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter and Sailor Venus, who created a barrier around it. (124) The shield collapsed as Pharaoh 90 arrived on Earth. (125)

Once Upon a Time

A restaurant visited by Tenoh Haruka and Kaioh Michiru. Tsukino Usagi and Aino Minako followed them there in order to spy on the couple, still believing Haruka to be a man. (092)

One Ring Attack

The first attack used by the Droid Udering. She span a ring of light and fired it at Sailor Moon, saying that a diagonal pattern would make one's wishes come true. (077)

(Endou Miyako)

The Youma form of journalist Asahina Nana. Nana gained the ability to transform into Oniwabandana after she was brainwashed by Kunzite and became an agent of the Dark Kingdom. She resembled a ninja. and had abilities in keeping with the persona, namely incredible agility, clone jutsus and the ability to use a katana and shuriken. She noticed apparent infighting between the Sailor Senshi, and raided the Osa-P jewellery store in order to attract their attention. The Sailor Senshi began to suspect that Nana was a Youma, and Tsukino Usagi passed a note to Nana, expressing Sailor Moon's intention to split from the other senshi. Oniwabandana passed the message on to Kunzite, who decided to meet with Sailor Moon at Juuban Cemetery. At the rendezvous point, Oniwabandana spotted the other Sailor Senshi hiding, and realised that the meeting was a trick to allow Sailor Moon to infiltrate the Dark Kingdom. She started to strangle Sailor Moon to draw the other Sailor Senshi out of hiding. Eventually the Sailor Senshi relented, and commenced battle with. Sailor Mars attacked and released Sailor Moon, while Kunzite escaped. Oniwabandana used a clone jutsu to create copies of herself, but these were negated by the actions of Sailor Mercury and Sailor Mars. Sailor Moon used Moon Healing Escalation to transform Oniwabandana back into Asahina, who was evidently none the worse for her ordeal. (043)

A plan concocted by Thetis in order to harness the energy of loving couples for the Dark Kingdom. She and Jadeite carried out the plan, for which she raised a wrecked ship and disguised it as a luxury cruise liner capable of carrying 666 passengers. Tickets for the maiden voyage were highly sought after. However, Jadeite and Thetis failed to realise that the Sailor Senshi were on board too: Hino Rei won a pair of tickets and invited Mizuno Ami to join her, whilst a jealous Tsukino Usagi sneaked on board disguised as a photographer. When the time came to absorb energy from the couples, the three girls were unaffected, and were able to transform and destroy Thetis. Following Jadeite's withdrawal, the illusion of the ship faded and it returned to its derelict state. (012)

Orgel

A small star-shaped musical locket which Princess Serenity gave to Prince Endymion as a gift in the Silver Millennium. (028) The reincarnation of Endymion, Tuxedo Kamen, had an identical locket which he dropped while battling the Youma Boxy. Sailor Moon retrieved it and later tried to return it, but Tuxedo Kamen told her to keep it for the time being. The tune the locket played was Moonlight Densetsu. (026, 028)

When faced with the hypnotised Endymion in the Dark Kingdom, Sailor Moon showed him the Orgel in a last, desperate attempt to jog his memory of who he really was. When Endymion touched it, Chiba Mamoru's memories returned and the hypnosis was undone. (046)

(Kakinuma Shino)

A student of Juuban Municipal Junior High School, in Class 1, and a friend of Tsukino Usagi and Umino Gurio. Naru lived above her family's jewellery store, Osa-P. (001) An only child, when she was growing up she was close to Saionji Rui, the daughter of one of the store's best customers. (014) Her academic record was generally better than Usagi's, and she attended cram school for a while. (005) She was also a member of the school's tennis club. (019)

Naru was constantly the victim of plots by Sailor Moon's enemies. At one point, she fell in love with Sanjoin Masato, the alter ego of Nephrite, and was used repeatedly in his schemes to kill Sailor Moon and locate the Silver Crystal. (019, 022, 023, 024) Even after discovering that Nephrite had been deceiving her, Naru refused to give up on him. She was kidnapped by Zoisite's Youma after he decided that Nephrite had fallen in love with her, in an attempt to obtain Nephrite's Black Crystal. Nephrite rescued Naru, apparently experiencing a change of heart towards her, but was killed shortly afterwards. (024) Naru was devastated by the loss, failing to attend school for a week, but was eventually brought round from her depression by Usagi and Umino. During a trip to Yokohama, Zoisite showed up again, but this time Naru was rescued by Umino. (026) She began to view Umino more favourably, but insisted that she didn't feel romantically inclined towards him. This led Umino to adopt the guise of Tuxedo Umino Kamen to protect her. Although she initially found the act to be ridiculous, she changed her attitude when Umino confronted the Youma Akan in order to defend her. Following this event, Naru fell for Umino. (032)

Naru was attacked in her home some time later when the Youma Oniwabandana broke into the shop in order to draw in the Sailor Senshi. She and her mother were pinned to the wall by the Youma's shuriken, but were later released by Sailor Moon. The following day, Oniwabandana's human form, Asahina Nana, pursued Naru for information on the Sailor Senshi. (043)

Naru was attacked in her room by the Cardian Vampir shortly after Ail and An arrived on Earth. She had her energy drained, but was saved from further harm by Sailor Moon, Luna and Artemis. (047) By this time, Naru had begun to realise that she was something of a magnet for strange events, and was cautious about attending and audition at TV Ashita in case something happened to her. Usagi agreed to accompany her to the audition and look after her, although ironically this didn't prevent her from being attacked by the Cardian Minotauron. (048) A while later, she was one of a number of people attacked by Reci at a cherry blossom viewing, (051) and had almost all of her energy taken by Yamandakka during an attack on a Sailor Moon Show. (058) Along with Umino, she had her energy drained by a Promise Ring from the Misanga Mansion. (077)

By the time the Black Moon Clan were attempting to open a huge Dark Gate in Tokyo, Naru had seemingly already worked out that Usagi was Sailor Moon. Not wishing to press Usagi on the matter, she commented that everyone had things that they couldn’t talk about, and simply said she hoped to see Usagi in school the next day. (087)

A while later, Naru became worried that Umino was acting strangely towards her, and asked Usagi for advice. Usagi came up with the idea of entering them both in the Lover's Park Affection Contest, only to find out that they had both separately had this idea, and this was actually the source of the apparent secrecy between them. The couple entered the competition anyway. Umino's clumsiness repeatedly foiled their efforts, although, as Tenoh Haruka noted, he was clearly trying harder than anyone. In the final round, Umino won the crowd over with his declaration of love to Naru, and they were declared the winners. However, as they stepped up to illuminate the park's statue, it transformed into the Daimon Daiheart and attacked them both. Umino pushed Naru out of the Daimon's way, and had his Pure Heart Crystal removed, despite Naru's efforts to stop the monster. Fortunately, Daiheart was defeated by Sailor Moon, and Umino's Pure Heart Crystal was returned to him by Sailor Uranus. The couple were again invited to light up the statute, and Umino promised Naru some fried lobster in celebration. (095)

Osaka Naru Personal Information

Jewellery store run by Osaka Naru's family. The status of the business was enough to earn the family an invitation to the Diamond Kingdom's ambassadorial reception in Tokyo. (022) The business was briefly used by the Dark Kingdom in order to spread energy-absorbing gems. (001) The store was robbed by Naru herself after Nephrite manipulated her into searching for the Silver Crystal, although the jewel she took turned out not to be the Silver Crystal, and was apparently returned. (023) The store was later raided by Oniwabandana in an attempt to attract the Sailor Senshi. Naru and her mother were briefly held hostage but were released by Sailor Moon. (043)

Osouji

(Matsuoka Yoko)

A Daimon overseen by Kaolinite, created from the fusion of a migratory Daimon Egg with a vacuum cleaner owned by Furuhata Unazuki. Osouji had light greenish skin and was clothed with armour resembling a vacuum cleaner's casing. Her black star insignia was located on her chest. Her arms were capable of transforming into vacuum cleaner brushes and performing the Osouji Hurricane attack, in which she expelled dusty air at great speed. She could also open the casing over her stomach to retrieve dust bags that were thrown at the enemy. Her built-in tick sensor allowed her to pinpoint objects, such as Pure Heart Crystals, over great distances.

Osouji attacked Unazuki as soon as she formed, extracting her Pure Heart Crystal and leaving through the window. She was spotted by Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune, who immediately attacked. As a result, Osouji accidentally dropped the Pure Heart Crystal onto the back of a passing refuse vehicle. She later used her tick sensor to trace the crystal to the local dump, but by this time the Sailor Team had found Unazuki and were also in pursuit. Osouji arrived at the dump and found the crystal, but was again confronted by Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune. By this time, Sailor Moon had also caught up with her. The Daimon attacked, and Sailor Moon just managed to dodge. She went to attack again but was stunned by a rose from Tuxedo Kamen. Sailor Moon quickly used Moon Spiral Heart Attack against Osouji, forcing her to revert back into the form of a vacuum cleaner and expel the Daimon Egg. (094)

Osouji Hurricane

An attack used by the Daimon Osouji. She retracted her arm, morphing it into a vacuum cleaner brush, which then fired a blast of air at high velocity at her target. She used this attack against Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune when they attempted to take Furahata Unazuki's Pure Heart Crystal from her. (094)

A cosmetics store that was identified by Rubeus as being on the site of a future Crystal Point. Berthier was sent on a mission to contaminate it with Dark Power, which she endeavoured to achieve by hijacking the business and using it to sell her own brand of Happy Clown Cosmetics. While Berthier took care of advertising the revamped store, the Droid Atsugessho took on the identity of human clerk Atsuge Shouko and began aggressively promoting the store's products to customers. A distraught Tsukino Usagi, recently dumped by Chiba Mamoru, entered the shop and soon got into a heated argument with the clerk about whether cosmetics could really change a man's mind about a woman. The remaining customers left, and the furious clerk transformed into Atsugessho and tried to attack Usagi. Usagi transformed into Sailor Moon and, with the assistance of Luna and Tuxedo Kamen, destroyed the monster. The store's original staff were subsequently found unconscious in the basement. (061) Some time later, a disguised Koan visited the store, her purchases including some cologne as a preset for Rubeus. (070)

Ougi Sakurako

A student at TA Academy and a member of the school's Fashion Designing Club. She persuaded Ginga Seijuurou and Ginga Natsumi to model in their show for the TA Culture Festival, Aliens from Outer Space, although she herself confessed to finding the concept of aliens ridiculous. (054)
