Sailor Moon
Sailor Moon was killed at D Point when she used the fully powered-up Silver Crystal to defeat Metalia and destroy the Dark Kingdom. Although the recoil killed her, the crystal ensured that she was returned to her old life with no memories of her time as a Sailor Senshi. (045, 046) A few months later, Luna was forced to reawaken Sailor Moon after Cardians began attacking members of the public. (047) However, after a short while, Sailor Moon began to experience difficulties and became unable to use Moon Tiara Action. Having already lost the Moon Stick during the destruction of the Dark Kingdom, she now had no effective means of attack. (050) Matters became even worse soon after, when her transformation brooch shattered in the middle of a battle, reversing her transformation. Usagi then entered a dreamlike state in which Luna explained that her reluctance to be a Sailor Senshi again was interfering with her powers. The spirit of Queen Serenity appeared to her and merged the Silver Crystal with her broken brooch, creating the Crystal Star. Sailor Moon returned to battle with a new transformation and a new attack. (051) After battling Cardians for some time, Sailor Moon eventually faced the Makaiju, which she purified at its own request. (059) Her ability to use Moon Tiara Action eventually returned, although by this time she favoured newer, more powerful attacks. (SMR) After losing the light of the Silver Crystal for a while. Sailor Moon's powers were restored through her love for Tuxedo Kamen. The damaged Crystal Star reformed into the Cosmic Heart Compact, and the Spiral Heart Moon Rod was created, allowing her to carry on fighting. (091) Sailor Moon's identity was briefly compromised after Kaolinite stole the Cosmic Heart Compact from Usagi, recognising it as Sailor Moon's brooch. It was later returned, however, after a disguised Sailor Venus convinced her that Usagi was not Sailor Moon. (101, 102) Her identity was later discovered by Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune. (109) When Sailor Moon touched the Holy Grail in the Marine Cathedral, a second transformation occurred, changing her into Super Sailor Moon. In this form, she was many times more powerful than usual, but she was unable to maintain the transformation for more than a few minutes without collapsing from exhaustion. Her ability to use the Holy Grail led Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune to speculate that she could be the Messiah, but they rejected this idea when they discovered that she could only wield the power for short periods of time. However, Sailor Moon kept the Holy Grail and used it when the situation required her to use more power than usual. (111) This became a regular occurrence after the Death Busters began using more powerful Daimons. (112) The Holy Grail was eventually stolen by Mistress 9 and consumed by Pharaoh 90. Without it, Sailor Moon was unable to become Super Sailor Moon and join Sailor Saturn in the final battle with the evil entity. However, with the borrowed power of her companions, Sailor Moon succeeded in removing her own Pure Heart Crystal and combine it with her brooch, enabling her to transform again. In her Super form, she was able to enter Pharaoh 90 and rescue the reborn Tomoe Hotaru. (125) Before they left Juuban, Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune challenged Sailor Moon to a fight, claiming that she acted irresponsibly in the final battler with the Death Busters. After catching a glimpse of Sailor Moon's true power, the two Sailor Senshi made peace with her, and decided that she was, in fact, the Messiah. (126) Sailor Moon's transformations: Moon Prism Power, Make Up: Using the first transformation brooch to transform into Sailor Moon. (001) Moon Crystal Power, Make Up: Using the Crystal Star transformation brooch to transform into Sailor Moon. (051) Moon Cosmic Power, Make Up: Using the Comic Heart Compact transformation brooch to transform into Sailor Moon. (091) Crisis Make Up: Using the Holy Grail to temporarily transform form Sailor Moon into Super Sailor Moon. (112) Sailor Moon's attacks: Moon Tiara Action (001), Moon Tiara Stardust (005), Sailor Moon Kick (017), Moon Healing Escalation (025), Moon Princess Halation (051), Sailor Body Attack (060), Moon Spiral Heart Attack (091), Rainbow Moon Heartache (112), Moon Cosmic Power. (125) Miscellaneous abilities: Sailor Teleport (as part of a group), (045) Moon Crystal Power, (070) Sailor Planet Power (as part of a group), (072) Sailor Planet Attack (as part of a group), (082, SMR) Double Sailor Moon Kick (with Sailor Chibi Moon). (107) For more information, see Tsukino Usagi. It appears that there was no Sailor Moon in the Silver Millennium, and Sailor Moon seems to have retired in the thirtieth century, although Chibi-Usa is evidently in training to succeed the position.

She first awoke as a Sailor Senshi after a series of apocalyptic visions of the future. After this, she worked alone until Tenoh Haruka awoke as Sailor Uranus, at which point the two became partners, working together closely. (106) Her powers were derived from the ocean. (090, 092) Sailor Neptune and Sailor Uranus were searching for the Talismans - the same objects sought by the Death Busters, in order to find the Messiah and hopefully prevent the Silence. (090, 096) Such was the importance of their mission, they agreed that if one of them was captured or killed the other should continue with the mission regardless. (098) Sailor Neptune first made her presence known to Sailor Moon and her friends when Hino Rei was attacked by the Daimon Mikuji. She and Sailor Uranus destroyed the monster, which had proven too strong for Sailor Moon, and intercepted Rei's Pure Heart Crystal to see if it was a talisman. It turned out not to be, and they returned the crystal to her, leaving without an explanation. (090) Her identity was eventually discovered by the Sailor Team and Eudial. (109) Shortly afterwards, Eudial discovered that Sailor Neptune and Sailor Uranus were both holders of talismans, and lured them to the Marine Cathedral in order to steal them. After Eudial shot Sailor Neptune with the Capture Gun, revealing the Deep Aqua Mirror. Sailor Uranus turned the gun on herself and released the Space Sword from her own body, entrusting the task of finding the last talisman to Sailor Moon. (110) She was revived by Sailor Pluto, who used the third talisman, the Garnet Orb, to separate the Deep Aqua Mirror from her Pure Heart Crystal and returned them both to her. Using her talisman, Sailor Neptune triggered the appearance of the Holy Grail, which Sailor Moon used to defeat Eudial. However, Sailor Neptune was not impressed by Sailor Moon's limited mastery of the item, and declared that she was not the Messiah. With Sailor Uranus and Sailor Pluto, she embarked on a new mission to find the real Messiah. (111) After the defeat of the Death Busters, she and Sailor Uranus confirmed that the Messiah was, in fact, Sailor Moon. (126) Sailor Neptune's transformations: Neptune Planet Power, Make Up: Using the Lip Rod to transform into Sailor Neptune. (106) Sailor Neptune's attacks: Deep Submerge (090, 092).
An advanced form of Sailor Planet Power, used by a group of Sailor Senshi to combine their power and create a ball of energy aimed at the enemy. It was first used on Fiore's asteroid, after Sailor Moon, Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter and Sailor Venus were attacked by the Flower Youma Campanula. (SMR) Later, they used the same manoeuvre in the Space-Time Corridor in order to destroy the Droid Ryuax. (082) The move was used again in Tokyo Tower against Kaolinite, but was not enough to defeat her, and resulted in the Sailor Team using up most of their power. (102) The first use of Sailor Planet Attack depends upon where the Sailor Moon R Movie is placed within the anime's continuity, although it is generally accepted that the events of the movie occurred before the Sailor Team entered the Space-Time Corridor.
A manoeuvre used by the Sailor Team to combine their power. It was first used by Sailor Moon, Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter and Sailor Venus to destroy a sabotaged staff that was generating a black hole. (072) The move was used again soon afterwards, without the involvement of Sailor Moon, as a temporary measure to counteract the gravity beam from Rubeus' UFO. (073) See also Sailor Planet Attack. (082, SMR)
The Sailor Senshi of time, and one of the Senshi granted greater powers in order to protect the Solar System from external threats. (082, 113) Sailor Pluto's main purpose was to guard the Space-Time Door and prevent unauthorised persons from travelling through the Space-Time Corridor. As such, she spent much of her existence in the void outside linear time. During the time of the Silver Millennium, Sailor Pluto's existence was not widely known of. Sailor Pluto was typically armed with the Garnet Rod: the key to the Space-Time Door which also served as a weapon. (082) She had the extraordinary ability to temporarily freeze time, but use of this power was strictly forbidden. (124) At some point, she was befriended by Chibi Usa, and during the Black Moon Clan's invasion, Chibi Usa fled to the twentieth century with Sailor Pluto's apparent approval. During this time, they communicated with each other through Luna-P, Chibi Usa always referring to the Sailor Senshi by her nickname, 'Puu'. Her existence was revealed to the twentieth century Sailor Team after Chibi Usa fell ill, the result of the Evil Black Crystal infiltrating her mind. Communicating with the Senshi via Luna-P, Sailor Pluto explained Chibi Usa's predicament and released a pulse of energy that transported them into the child's dreams. After the evil force had been defeated, Chibi Usa recovered. She asked Sailor Pluto to bring her back to the twentieth century, but she declined, saying that Chibi Usa had to help defeat the enemy's plans in the twentieth century. (075) When Chibi Usa eventually managed to use the Space-Time Key, she brought the Sailor Team, Tuxedo Kamen, Luna and Artemis with her to the Space-Time Door. Although Chibi Usa had initially promised not to bring anyone back with her, Sailor Pluto allowed them to proceed through the door, cryptically observing that Sailor Moon had always been a source of trouble for her. (082) Sailor Pluto later detected Black Lady travelling back to the twentieth century and warned the Sailor Team that something had happened to Chibi Usa. She returned them to the past, politely refusing their requests to know more about the future. (085) Sailor Pluto appeared in the twentieth century during the Death Busters crisis, intent on helping Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune. During her time in the twentieth century, she used the civilian alias Meioh Setsuna. She revealed that her Garnet Rod contained the third talisman, the Garnet Orb, and used it to trigger the formation of the Holy Grail. She later joined Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune in the quest to find the true Messiah. (111) During an attempt to penetrate the Death Busters' Omega Zone via helicopter, the three Senshi were attacked by a horde of undifferentiated Daimons. Just as the helicopter was about to explode, Sailor Pluto stopped time, allowing her companions to escape. The punishment she received for using her forbidden power was not revealed, but she disappeared and was generally presumed dead. However, she still managed to communicate with Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune during their battle with Germatoid, and later with Chibi Usa. (124, 126) Sailor Pluto's transformations: Pluto Planet Power, Make Up: Using the Lip Rod to transform into Sailor Pluto. (111) Sailor Pluto's attacks: Dead Scream. (112)
The situation was complicated by the Death Busters, who used Hotaru as a host for their Messiah of Silence. Thus, Hotaru was hunted by Sailor Uranus, Sailor Neptune and Sailor Pluto, who feared the consequences of Sailor Saturn awakening. (119) They originally believed that Sailor Saturn and the Messiah of Silence were the same being, so were surprised when the Messiah of Silence took on her true form, that of Mistress 9. (123) Hotaru ultimately managed to overcome Mistress 9's influence by awakening as Sailor Saturn. Sailor Saturn returned Chibi Usa's Pure Heart Crystal to her, then announced her intention to destroy Pharaoh 90 with her apocalyptic powers. Explaining that her fearsome reputation was due to her ability to destroy worlds, Sailor Saturn also revealed that the use of her powers came at the cost of her life. Despite Sailor Moon's attempts to stop her, Sailor Saturn leapt into Pharaoh 90, destroying the entity from within. Sailor Moon managed to transform into Super Sailor Moon, following Sailor Saturn into Pharaoh 90. After the being was destroyed, she reappeared holding a newborn baby. True to her word, Sailor Saturn had died and been reborn. (125) In the manga, Sailor Saturn was responsible for wiping out the Silver Millennium civilisation after the death of Queen Serenity. While this is never stated in the anime, it would be consistent.
Female warriors with magical powers, deriving their abilities from planets or other celestial bodies. Ordinary people by day, they are able to transform into their Sailor Senshi forms by means of an item such as a transformation pen, accompanied by an appropriate incantation. (001, 008) The ancient civilisation of the Silver Millennium employed Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter and Sailor Venus to protect Princess Serenity. (044) Sailor Uranus, Sailor Neptune and Sailor Pluto, the Sailor Senshi of the outer solar system, were granted greater powers than the others in order to protect the system from external threats. (113) Sailor Pluto was also employed to guard the Space-Time Door and prevent unauthorised time travel, and due to the sensitivity surrounding the task, her existence was known only to a select few. (082) The final Sailor Senshi was the legendary Sailor Saturn, the Senshi of ruin, who was destined to destroy all life upon awakening. (119) With the apparent exception of Sailor Pluto, the Sailor Senshi were killed when the Silver Millennium fell, but were reincarnated many years later. Serenity was also reincarnated, but this time as a Sailor Senshi, Sailor Moon. (044, 082) The girls' powers were awakened by the actions of Luna and Artemis, in response to the return of the Dark Kingdom. (001, 033) All five of them were killed in the final battle with the Dark Kingdom, but the Silver Crystal ensured that they were brought back to life, with no memories of their experiences as Sailor Senshi. (045, 046) A few months later, first Sailor Moon and then her colleagues were reawakened due to the activities of Ail and An, and they remained active from that point onwards. (047, 048) Eventually their paths crossed those of Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune, who were fighting the Death Busters and looking for the Talismans. (092) Although they had been awakened to fight this alien threat, they had not awakened quickly enough to prevent it from taking root on Earth. (113) Despite Sailor Moon's requests, the pair refused to join forces with her, insisting that they could not be allies. (092) An unexpected ally did soon appear, however, in the form of Sailor Chibi Moon, aka Chibi Usa, who had returned to the twentieth century to undergo Sailor Senshi training. (103) Sailor Pluto also arrived in the twentieth century a short while later, allying herself with Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune. (111) These three Senshi eventually realised, to their horror, that Sailor Saturn had been reincarnated as Tomoe Hotaru, and sought to prevent her awakening at any cost. (119) Ultimately, however, Sailor Saturn proved to be Earth's salvation. Her awakening in Hotaru destroyed Mistress 9, and she subsequently used her apocalyptic powers to defeat Pharaoh 90, at the cost of her own life. Hotaru was then reincarnated as a newborn baby. (125)

A phrase most often used to describe the collective force of Sailor Moon, Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter and Sailor Venus. The exact definition for this term (if there even is one) is very debatable. Some promotional material has used "Sailor Team" to describe all ten of the main Sailor Senshi, but within the anime it seems primarily limited to the "Inner Senshi".
A manoeuvre used by the Sailor Senshi to move instantly from one point in space to another. The assembled Senshi must join hands in a circle and combine their powers for it to work. (045) The incantation could also be used to transport another person inside the ring, although it was not capable of carrying two. (074, 118) It was not usually possible to perform the move without Sailor Moon. (124) The move was first used to teleport Sailor Moon, Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter and Sailor Venus from the Hikawa Shrine to D Point for the final battle with the Dark Kingdom. (045) The Sailor Team next used Sailor Teleport to escape from Rubeus' UFO before it exploded, bringing Chibi Usa with them. (074) When Tuxedo Kamen was kidnapped by Fiore, the Sailor Team used the move to infiltrate his asteroid, high above the Earth. (SMR) After Tuxedo Kamen failed to return from his investigations of a giant Evil Black Crystal fragment, the Sailor Team used the move to teleport themselves inside the crystal. (087) The Sailor Teleport could be used to access multi-dimensional space, and was used to find Chibi Usa and Tomoe Hotaru after the Tomoe residence became trapped in a spatial anomaly. (118)

Sailor V
Sailor V: The GameA video game featuring the legendary heroine Sailor V. An arcade version of the game was available to play in the Crown Game Centre, and was a favourite of Tsukino Usagi's. (002) She felt that 500 points was a respectable score for a first attempt... however, she was not really very good at the game. Mizuno Ami proved to be a natural, and achieved a new high score on her first attempt. That particular copy of the game served another purpose, however: it was also used by Luna to secretly contact her mysterious ally (who was in fact merely Artemis) (008, 037). The machine was later used to monitor the Dark Kingdom's activities. (042) A cartridge version of the game was also released. (031)

He struggled to the huge piece of Evil Black Crystal that had grown in the centre of the city, but was confronted by Black Lady. The Sailor Team arrived to protect him, and Dimande appeared overhead. Usagi's subsequent conversation with Mamoru was observed by Kaolinite, who was stalking Usagi with the intention of taking her Pure Heart Crystal. Kaolinite then infiltrated the store, incapacitating the other employees and posing as a saleswoman in order to implant a Daimon Egg into one of the glass shoes. She then sold the shoes to Mamoru in the knowledge that they would be given to Usagi. (101)

Minako reassured Mie that she should believe in Sailor Moon, and even said that she had met her. Mie was amazed and asked Minako to come back the next day and explain it to the other children. Minako agreed, but her lecture the following day did little to convince Mie's classmates. When the bus arrived to take the children home, their teacher announced that she wouldn't be able to ride the bus with them, so Minako offered to go in her place. She was joined by Tsukino Usagi, who had been sent to investigate the kindergarten. They rode the bus without incident until they were attacked by the Cardian Gigaros. Usagi and Minako discreetly left the bus and transformed. The battle initially seemed to be swinging in Gigaros' favour, but thanks in part to the encouragement of Mie and her classmates, Sailor Venus discovered a new attack, Crescent Beam Shower. With this move, she was able to weaken the monster enough for Sailor Moon to finish it off. Following her experience, Mie declared herself to be a fan of both Sailor Moon and Sailor Venus. (052)
Scar formed beneath a car, under which the scarf she was made from had been blown by the wind. Kino Makoto attempted to retrieve the scarf. but was faced with the newly-created Daimon. The monster tried to attack Makoto, but was distracted by Sailor Moon and Sailor Mercury, and withdrew on Kaolinite's advice. She later caught up with Makoto at Kaiousu Park, and attacked again, wrapping Makoto in the fabric of her outfit. Tenoh Haruka threw a rock at her, dislodging her mask, but she and Kaioh Michiru were hit by Scar's retaliatory attack. Scar then extracted Makoto's Pure Heart Crystal, but was faced with more opposition. Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars and Sailor Venus challenged her, but were also trapped by her dress. Sailor Neptune managed to release them with a Deep Submerge attack, and Makoto's Pure Heart Crystal was returned to her. Makoto then transformed into Sailor Jupiter and managed to stun the Daimon with Sparkling Wide Pressure. Sailor Moon then performed Moon Spiral Heart Attack, destroying Scar and transforming her back into Haruka's scarf. (096)

SendaizakaThe location of the Hikawa Shrine. Three buses full of hypnotised customers from the shrine were pulled into another dimension by Jadeite after the bus stop at Sendaizaka. The matter was investigated by the police, and a mass kidnapping was suspected, but the situation was resolved when the Sailor Senshi and Tuxedo Kamen retrieved the buses. (010) The precise location of the bus stop is given as Sendaizaka Ue, or Upper Sendaizaka.
Shortly after she came to power, an evil force of unknown origin rose up against the Queen. A large proportion of the forces were purified, but the remainder fled Earth and were not seen again. Generations passed, and the descendants of those forces, now residing on Nemesis, took advantage of the failure of Crystal Tokyo's security systems to launch a devastating revenge attack on the city. Neo-Queen Serenity was targeted, but was protected by the Sailor Team who sealed her in a protective crystal. However, it later proved impossible to remove Serenity from the crystal. With the queen comatose and the king seriously injured, Chibi Usa fled to the twentieth century in order to find the legendary Sailor Moon of the past. Eventually she returned with Sailor Moon and the Sailor Team, but even Sailor Moon's Silver Crystal was unable to revive Serenity from her sleep. (083, 084) The queen was eventually roused from her sleep by Sailor Moon's use of the Silver Crystal in the twentieth century beneath Wiseman's Dark Gate. Sailor Moon took on the form of Neo Queen Serenity and managed to transform Black Lady back into Chibi Usa by triggering her childhood memories. Sailor Moon took on this form again very soon afterwards, when she released the power of the Silver Crystal in order to defeat Wiseman. Sailor Moon and Chibi Usa were successful in destroying the evil entity, but their use of the Silver Crystal should have proven lethal to them. However, they heard Neo Queen Serenity assuring them that the Silver Crystal had brought about a miracle, and they emerged from the battle unscathed. Following her awakening, Serenity apparently restored the city of Crystal Tokyo to its former glory, and was reunited with Chibi Usa soon after this. (088) After Chibi Usa gained the ability to transform into Sailor Chibi Moon, Serenity told her daughter to return to the past in order to train as a Sailor Senshi, and sent her back to the twentieth century along with a covering letter addressed to her past self. There was a second motivation for sending Chibi Usa into the past, however: as a princess of Crystal Tokyo, she had little contact with other children, and Serenity wanted her daughter to learn how to make friends. (104) Serenity eventually came to miss her daughter, and sent a letter to the twentieth century, asking Chibi Usa to come home. Chibi Usa returned briefly to Crystal Tokyo, but went back to the twentieth century soon afterwards. She was followed by a second letter from Serenity, asking her daughter to bring back more souvenirs next time. (127)
Princess Serenity was reincarnated as Tsukino Usagi, but her rebirth coincided with the revival of Metalia's Dark Kingdom. Luna located Usagi and awoke some of her latent powers, allowing her to become Sailor Moon. At the time, however, neither of them knew that she was also the reincarnation of Serenity. It was only when Sailor Moon witnessed the near-death of Tuxedo Kamen, the reincarnation of Endymion, that the Silver Crystal reconstituted and restored everyone's memories. At this point, the grief-stricken Sailor Moon somehow transformed into Serenity, and used the Silver Crystal's power to repel Zoisite's onslaught. (035) From this point on, Sailor Moon transformed into Serenity on occasions when she had to use the Silver Crystal's power to its full extent. This first happened when Sailor Moon fought Queen Metalia at D Point. (046) Shortly after she was reawakened, Sailor Moon assumed this form again when the spirit of Queen Serenity returned the crystal to her. (051) After the battle on Fiore's asteroid, Sailor Moon became Princess Serenity while using the Silver Crystal to correct the asteroid's course. She lost this form after the crystal apparently shattered, although the crystal reconstituted when she was revived by Fiore. (SMR)
The Silver Millennium was eventually attacked by Queen Beryl and Queen Metalia. The attack killed the Sailor Team, as well as Princess Serenity and Prince Endymion. Queen Serenity survived the first wave, but with her daughter and subjects dead, she decided to sacrifice her own life to destroy the invaders. She used the Moon Stick and Silver Crystal to perform Moon Healing Escalation, which harnessed the crystal's full power and destroyed the invading armies, sealing Metalia as well. The use of the Silver Crystal came at the cost of her own life, but in her dying moments she used the crystal's power to send her dead subjects forward in time, to be reincarnated on Earth. Aware that Metalia might one day awaken again, she sealed Luna and Artemis into cold sleep, to serve as advisors to the Sailor Team in that eventuality. Metalia did indeed return in the late twentieth century, triggering the revival of Luna and Artemis and the reawakening of the Sailor Team. During a battle with Kunzite, the Silver Crystal transported the Sailor Team to the Moon, where Queen Serenity's spirit still resided. She informed them of their past lives, and then sent them back home. (044) Queen Serenity continued to exist inside Tsukino Usagi's soul, and the two met again after Usagi lost her transformation during the battle with Reci. She replaced Usagi's damaged transformation brooch with a new one, the Crystal Star, which contained the Silver Crystal. With this brooch, Usagi regained the ability to transform into Sailor Moon and returned to the battle. Queen Serenity then supplied her with the Cutie Moon Rod, an item that allowed her to perform the Moon Princess Halation attack. (051)
A volleyball based attack used by the Daimon Haikyun to fire an explosive ball of energy containing Asai Tsutomu's Pure Heart Crystal at Sailor Venus. However, Sailor Venus countered the move with her Flying Roll Receive, allowing Sailor Mars to intercept the ball and remove the crystal. (100)
Seven Great YoumaThe Dark Kingdom’s seven most powerful Youma, who were sealed into fragments of the Silver Crystal called Rainbow Crystals after the fall of the Silver Millennium. Eventually, the Youma were reincarnated on Earth as humans (or in one case, a cat), the influence of the Rainbow Crystals ensuring that their evil tendencies did not surface. These humans were pursued by Zoisite, who used the Black Crystal to remove the Rainbow Crystals from their bodies, causing them to revert to their Youma forms. Their human forms were restored, however, upon Sailor Moon’s use of Moon Healing Escalation on them. (025) The Seven Great Youma were: Gesen, reincarnated as Crane Game Joe (025); Boxy, reincarnated as a priest (026); Bunbo, reincarnated as Urawa Ryou (027); Vena, reincarnated as Yumeno Yumemi (028); Rikoukeidar, reincarnated as Nishimura Reika (029); Jiji, reincarnated as Rei’s Grandfather (030); and Bakene, reincarnated as Rhett Butler. (031) It seems likely that the Youma we see revived do not represent the original forms of these creatures, since the personalities of their hosts seem to be reflected in their revived forms. It is also interesting to note that of the seven hosts, at least four have some sort of psychic power: Joe has telekinesis, Urawa is clairvoyant, Yumemi sees visions of past lives and Rei’s Grandfather is able to sense (and to some extent fight) evil spirits. There is even some evidence to suggest that Rhett Butler has powers, based on his Tuxedo Kamen-like ability to detect when Luna was in danger.

Shabon Spray
An improved version of Shabon Spray. Sailor Mercury's discovery of this power was triggered by her anger at the Cardian Amaderasu, who was harvesting the energy of babies. The boosted attack created a mist capable of freezing an enemy solid. (053) A more powerful version of this attack, Double Shabon Spray Freezing, was used against Giwaku and her clones. (080)

The entrants were all invited to perform there, but in their semi-hypnotic state they did not realise that the audience was fake, and their energy was gradually being drained by the Youma Derella. Sailor Moon infiltrated the show and freed the participants by killing Derella. (007)
Shape RayAn alleged form of weight loss treatment offered by Gym Shapely. Whilst it did have visible effects, it was actually an effective ploy by Jadeite to collect energy for the Dark Kingdom. More than a few courses of the treatment would probably have been lethal. Osaka Naru had one course of Shape Ray treatment, but Sakurada Haruna had a few, leaving her dangerously ill. She was saved from almost certain death when Sailor Moon discovered the truth about the Shape Ray pods and destroyed them. (004)
The kindergarten attended by Sayama Mie. Aino Minako visited the kindergarten after overhearing Mie being bullied, then returned the next day at Mie's request to tell the children about Sailor Moon. When their teacher was unable to ride the bus home with them, Minako offered to go in her place. Meanwhile, Mizuno Ami had calculated that the children of Shiba Kindergarten were likely to be attacked by the Cardian Gigaros, following a similar attack on a busload of children from the nearby Kari Kindergarten. Tsukino Usagi went to investigate, and disguised herself as a teacher with the disguise pen. Upon boarding the bus home, she met up with Minako. Just as they had feared, the bus was stopped by Gigaros, who drained the energy of the driver before turning to the children. Usagi and Minako ducked out of the bus and transformed, tackling the monster. Following the intervention of the Moonlight Knight, Sailor Venus discovered a new attack, Crescent Beam Shower, which immobilised Gigaros and allowed Sailor Moon to destroy her. (052)
A Tokyo school attended by Aino Minako and Asai Tsutomu. (052, 100) The school had a policy of locking the gates once classes started, which resulted in Minako missing a sizeable amount of her education. (052) Shiba Park Junior High is first seen in Episode 52, but is not named until Episode 100.

Shinjuku MS Department StoreThe venue for Nephrite’s scheme to entrap Sailor Moon using a falsified love letter from Tuxedo Kamen. Nephrite sent love letters claiming to be from Tuxedo Kamen to many of the girls in Juuban, including Tsukino Usagi, Mizuno Ami, Hino Rei and Osaka Naru. The letters asked the girls to meet him at the department store the following night. Although she didn’t know who Tuxedo Kamen was, Naru wondered if it could be Sanjoin Masato, Nephrite’s alter ego on whom she had a crush. She answered the invitation and was attacked by Nephrite, disguised as Tuxedo Kamen. Sailor Moon and the real Tuxedo Kamen intervened, but were trapped in a sabotaged lift by the Youma Leo. They managed to escape with the help of Sailor Mercury and Sailor Mars, although Naru had to be hospitalised as a result of her ordeal. (019)
Shinnosuke was played by Shin-chan's seiyuu, Yajima Akiko, who also appeared in the episode as Tamasaburou.
Shinokawa Kijin
A high school attended by the track star Elza Gray. Tsukino Usagi, Mizuno Ami, Kino Makoto, Aino Minako and Hino Rei once visited the school, as the first four were considering it as a potential high school to apply for. Minako was impressed with the sports facilities, and commented that she would consider taking up volleyball again if she attended the school. The girls encountered Elza Gray, who was training, and later witnessed an attack on her by Eudial, who attempted to steal her Pure Heart Crystal. The school was then the site of a battle between the Sailor Senshi and the Daimon Hurdler, who was eventually destroyed by Sailor Moon. (106)
Shiratori Mikan
She was attacked and rendered unconscious by the Youma Derella, who stole her identity in order to set up the Cinderella Caravan. She recovered once the monster had been defeated. (007) Mikan was later given the starring role in a TV drama made by TV Ashita. During auditions for the role of her character's younger sister, Ail and An attacked the station. Mikan had her energy drained by An, and the series was subsequently cancelled due to Mikan's "exhaustion." (048)

A cataclysmic event that Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune hoped to prevent by finding the Talismans and the Messiah. (096) After the talismans were combined to form the Holy Grail, it was revealed that whoever controlled it could determine whether or not the Silence occurred. Specifically, if the Grail fell into evil hands, it could be used to trigger the event. The Death Busters were nurturing the Messiah of Silence for this very purpose. Meioh Setsuna expressed concern that the Silence would drastically change the future, whilst Hino Rei repeatedly experienced apocalyptic visions, which she eventually decided were premonitions of the Silence. (112) It transpired that Tenoh Haruka, and Kaioh Michiru were experiencing the same visions, and they identified the weapon wielded by an imposing figure in the vision as the Silence Glaive, the weapon used by Sailor Saturn. This led them to conclude that Sailor Saturn was about to reawaken and trigger the Silence. (119) Ultimately it was discovered that the true architects of the Silence were Mistress 9 and the non-corporeal entity Pharaoh 90, whose passage to Earth would result in its destruction. (124) Ironically, Sailor Saturn herself was responsible for preventing the Silence, sacrificing herself to destroy Pharaoh 90 after he arrived on Earth. (125)
The weapon wielded by Sailor Saturn. After seeing it in a vision foretelling the Silence, Tenoh Haruka and Kaioh Michiru realised that Sailor Saturn was about to reawaken, with disastrous consequences for life on Earth. (119)
A one-legged combination of a model horse and a pogo stick, which was the main mode of transport used by the Daimon U-Estern. (112) The name Silver is a reference to the Lone Ranger's horse of the same name.
An ancient and powerful artefact of the Silver Millennium. (035) Carried by the rulers of the Moon Kingdom, it is capable of unleashing enormous amounts of energy when used to its full extent. Unfortunately, such usage is extremely hazardous for the crystal's holder, and usually causes their death. (044) In ancient times, the Silver Crystal's power was sought by Queen Metalia of the Dark Kingdom, who took control of Earth and attacked the Silver Millennium in order to steal it. The crystal's power proved to be the Dark Kingdom's downfall, however: Queen Serenity used the crystal to defeat Metalia's armies and seal her away, but not before the Silver Millennium had been all but annihilated by her forces. (035) Fragments of the Silver Crystal, known as the Rainbow Crystals, were also used to seal away the Dark Kingdom's most powerful monsters, the Seven Great Youma, The cleansing influence of the Rainbow Crystals ensured that, in time, the monsters would be reincarnated on Earth as good humans. (025) When the Dark Kingdom returned in the present day, Queen Beryl sought the crystal as a power source to revive Metalia. (001) Zoisite was placed in charge of its recovery, but infighting broke out when Nephrite announced that he too was searching for the crystal, and had created a Black Crystal in order to detect it. (022, 023) This battle led to Nephrite's death, following which Beryl learned from the partially revived Metalia that the Silver Crystal had been split into fragments. (024, 025) Zoisite was given a modified version of the Black Crystal in order to seek out the Rainbow Crystals, but he was in direct competition with the Sailor Senshi and Tuxedo Kamen, who were also intent on finding them. (025) Eventually Zoisite managed to retrieve five of the seven crystals, but two remained in the hands of Tuxedo Kamen. After working out that Tuxedo Kamen was really Chiba Mamoru, Zoisite challenged him to a duel in the Star Light Tower to determine ownership of the crystals. However, the duel was merely a trap, and with the assistance of Kunzite, he stole the remaining two crystals from Mamoru. They were briefly in Kunzite's possession, but this changed abruptly when Sailor Moon inadvertently triggered the reconstitution of the Silver Crystal. Seeing Tuxedo Kamen gravely injured by Zoisite, Sailor Moon's horror caused the Rainbow Crystals to gravitate towards her and combine with one of her tears, forming the Silver Crystal and triggering her transformation into Princess Serenity. (034) Now attached to the Moon Stick, the Silver Crystal proved to be a useful means of defence against Zoisite and Kunzite, and with it the Sailor Senshi were able to deflect their attacks and escape from the Star Light Tower. (035) However, Luna and Artemis were still concerned that Sailor Moon was still too emotionally immature to use the crystal to its full potential. (036) When the Sailor Senshi faced off against Kunzite in the portal to the Dark Kingdom, the crystal protected them from his attack, and transported them safely to the Moon. There, the spirit of Queen Serenity revealed their past lives to them. The Silver Crystal then transported them back for the final battle with the Dark Kingdom. (044) Sailor Moon finally harnessed the crystal's true power when facing off against Super Beryl, the entity formed when Queen Metalia possessed Queen Beryl's body. Sailor Moon transformed into Princess Serenity, and used the crystal to defend herself against a seemingly infinite barrage of energy. Then, with the spirits of her deceased comrades, she used the Silver Crystal to its full extent. Metalia and the Dark Kingdom were destroyed, but the crystal took its toll and Sailor Moon died. However, the crystal acted upon her final wish: for everyone to return to their normal lives. She and the others resumed their ordinary existences in Juuban, with no memories of their battle with the Dark Kingdom, while the crystal itself was lost in the confusion. (046) Sailor Moon was subsequently reawakened to fight Ail and An, but her powers quickly became unstable. During a battle with the Cardian Reci, Sailor Moon's transformation brooch shattered, reversing her transformation and leaving her defenceless. She and Luna were dragged into an energy well, and entered a dreamlike state of consciousness inside her own soul. There, she encountered Queen Serenity, who presented her with the Silver Crystal. She said that Sailor Moon's desire to protect her friends had ensured the crystal's safety, and combined the crystal with her broken transformation brooch to create the Crystal Star. Usagi took the new transformation brooch and returned to battle, now able to transform with the Silver Crystal's aid. (051) The Silver Crystal later became the target of two separate parties: Chibi Usa and the Black Moon Clan. Chibi Usa already knew that Usagi owned the crystal, and demanded it from her immediately after they met. The Black Moon Clan, meanwhile, had managed to trace the Silver Crystal to present-day Juuban thanks to Wiseman, but were unaware of its precise whereabouts. (060, 068) Meanwhile, Sailor Moon discovered that the crystal, despite lacking its previous power, was still capable of purifying evil. With the incantation 'Moon Crystal Power', she used the crystal to remove the Black Moon Clan's evil influence over Koan, Berthier, Calaveras and Petz. (070, 071, 072) During her purification of the latter two, however, the crystal was spotted by both Chibi Usa and Rubeus. (072) After Usagi left her brooch in her bedroom, Chibi Usa took the opportunity to steal it, hoping to take the Silver Crystal to the future in order to save her mother. (073) After her actions led to some of the Sailor Team being abducted by Rubeus, Chibi Usa returned the crystal to Usagi. (074) During the events on Fiore's asteroid, Sailor Moon used the Silver Crystal to correct the asteroid's course after the distraught Fiore tried to crash it into the Earth. Fiore tried to stop her using the crystal, but upon touching it he was given access to her memories, and was freed from the Xenian Flower's control. Sailor Moon then transformed into Princess Serenity and successfully diverted the asteroid, but the exertion took its toll and the crystal apparently shattered, leaving Sailor Moon comatose. Fiore returned and lent his energy to Sailor Moon, an act which revived her and restored the Silver Crystal to its previous state. (SMR) When Sailor Moon was briefly separated from Chibi Usa in the Space-Time Corridor, the Silver Crystal began to resonate, leading Sailor Moon back to Chibi Usa. (082) In the thirtieth century, it was revealed that Crystal Tokyo's defences had fallen because the future Silver Crystal had inexplicably disappeared. Unbeknownst to everyone, this had happened after Chibi Usa attempted to hold the crystal, somehow causing it to vanish. (084) Wiseman used this guilt to manipulate Chibi Usa and transformed her into the evil Black Lady, at which point she was taken to the twentieth century to begin a final attack. Sailor Moon attempted to heal her with the Silver Crystal, and would have succeeded had Wiseman not reappeared and continued his brainwashing of her. (085) Sailor Moon encountered Black Lady again as Wiseman's Dark Gate was about to open. Again she used the Silver Crystal, but this time the crystal caused Neo Queen Serenity, asleep in the future, to awaken. The two merged, and Sailor Moon took on the form of the future queen. In this form, she was finally able to trigger Chibi Usa's repressed memories and turn her back into her original form. Sailor Moon went on to fight Wiseman as Serenity, while Chibi Usa discovered that she had not destroyed the future Silver Crystal - merely taken it into her body. The crystal reappeared, and she joined Sailor Moon in battling Wiseman. The combined power of the two crystals overwhelmed Wiseman, destroying him. The use of the Silver Crystals at full power should have killed Sailor Moon and Chibi Usa, but Neo Queen Serenity informed them that the crystals had caused a miracle, and they both survived. Chibi Usa later returned to the thirtieth century with the Silver Crystal of the future. (088) The Silver Crystal's light was apparently extinguished shortly afterwards, when Sailor Moon was attacked by the Daimon Mikuji. The Daimon tore the Crystal Star away from her, damaging the brooch and reversing her transformation. (090) The light returned when Usagi resolved to help Tuxedo Kamen and her friends in the battle with Nekonneru. The Crystal Star transformed into a new brooch, the Cosmic Heart Compact, and the Silver Crystal took on a pink, heart-shaped appearance. (091) It was lost briefly after Kaolinite stole the Cosmic Heart Compact, but was later returned after a disguised Sailor Venus convinced her that Usagi was not Sailor Moon. (101, 102)
An ancient kingdom based on the Moon, sometimes referred to more casually as the Moon Kingdom. Its last ruler was Queen Serenity. Her daughter, Princess Serenity, was protected by Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter and Sailor Venus. Tension grew between Silver Millennium and Earth after Queen Metalia infiltrated the latter civilisation and stirred up resentment towards the Moon's inhabitants. The kingdom was eventually attacked by the Dark Kingdom, led by Queen Beryl, Jadeite, Nephrite, Zoisite and Kunzite. The sudden attack caused massive damage and led to untold deaths, including Prince Endymion, Princess Serenity and the Sailor Senshi who had been guarding her. Queen Serenity survived the first wave, as did Luna and Artemis, but she opted to stop the invasion at the cost of her own life, by using the full power of the Silver Crystal. The crystal sealed Metalia away and destroyed her forces, but with her once great civilisation in ruins, the dying Queen Serenity used her remaining power to send the souls of her subjects forward in time, to be reincarnated on Earth during a time of peace. Luna and Artemis were sent forward too, to act as guides in case their services were required. (035, 044) In the manga, Sailor Saturn was responsible for wiping out the Silver Millennium civilisation after the death of Queen Serenity. While this is never stated in the anime, it would be consistent.
SiriusThe star controlling Shinokawa Kijin's energy levels, according to Nephrite. (017)
Sleeping BeautyA fairy tale, much loved by Tsukino Usagi. She once read the story to Chibi Usa, who was less impressed by it. (069)

Gastropods kept by the Witches 5 for study, and strongly disliked by Eudial. Mimete released the laboratory snails into Eudial's locker, and attached a cryptic warning that "the snail woman in the Station Wagon should crash and burn!" (110) The nature of the threat was revealed when Eudial discovered that Mimete had sabotaged her Station Wagon, cutting the brakes and filling it with snails. Eudial was killed in the sabotaged vehicle as she tried to escape the Marine Cathedral. (111) A nickname adopted by Tsukino Shingo while in the Virtual Reality Theatre. (050)

Snow White and the Seven DwarvesA story that was studied by Juuban Municipal Junior High School's eighth grade students as part of an English assignment. It also became the basis of the play Snow White and the Six Dwarves, which was staged at Juuban Hall. (056)
Snow White and the Six Dwarves An adaptation of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, renamed because there were insufficient actors to cover all of the roles. The idea came about after Hino Rei discovered that Chiba Mamoru was having problems with a play he was supposed to put on at Juuban Hall. Casting disputes had caused the actors to quit, so Tsukino Usagi and her friends offered their assistance. The decision was quickly made to perform Snow White, and Mamoru was immediately cast as the prince. However, an argument broke out concerning who should play Snow White, which Ginga Natsumi offered to solve by a system of drawing lots. Usagi drew the part of the evil queen, while Natsumi rigged the draw and gave herself the part of Snow White. During the rehearsals at Juuban Public Hall, Natsumi insisted on repeatedly practising the kiss scene, which infuriated Usagi. Meanwhile, Umino Gurio rented animal costumes for the dwarves, reputedly in order to add originality. Hino Rei became a bear, Mizuno Ami became a racoon dog, Aino Minako became a fox, Kino Makoto became a gorilla, Osaka Naru became a rabbit, and Umino himself became an elephant. An asked Ail if he would participate in the play too, but he refused, saying he would only play the part of the prince. However, having heard about the play, Ail secretly ordered the Cardian Bipierrot to attack the venue and steal energy. When the curtains raised on the day of the performance, Bipierrot was already on the stage. She destroyed most of the set, and attacked the performers when they tried to stop her. She began to drain energy from the audience, at which point Usagi transformed into Sailor Moon. With the help of the Moonlight Knight and the rest of the Sailor Team, Sailor Moon defeated the Cardian. The audience, meanwhile, assumed that the fight had been part of the play. (056)
Soiya had light green skin and spiked red hair. as well as limited teleportation abilities. She was equipped with a backpack containing rockets, and wore a large drum that could split into two separate drums and trap victims. She also carried two large spiked clubs that she used as weapons. The Daimon was released by Eudial at the Juuban Festival, after an unsuccessful attempt to steal the Pure Heart Crystal of Tohno Maya, and was commanded to attack Sailor Moon, Sailor Mars, Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune. Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune quickly absconded, leaving Sailor Moon and Sailor Mars to fight the monster alone. Soiya launched her fireworks at the Sailor Senshi, forcing them to 'dance' in order to avoid the falling rockets. She then launched her drum at them, causing it to split and trap both of them on the spot. She was just about to use her spiked clubs on them when Sailor Chibi Moon appeared, and used Pink Sugar Heart Attack against the Daimon. Although the attack was initially unsuccessful, on the second attempt in managed to pin down Soiya long enough for Sailor Moon to wriggle free of the drum. Sailor Moon then used Moon Spiral Heart Attack to destroy Soiya, turning her back into a taiko and expelling the Daimon Egg. (103)
A picture painted by Kaioh Michiru and exhibited at an art gallery. A somewhat abstract composition, it depicted a whale swimming through a strange cosmic ether. (093)
One of the three talismans. It was held inside Sailor Uranus' Pure Heart until she removed it with Eudial's Capture Gun. (110) Sailor Pluto used the Garnet Orb to separate the Space Sword from the Pure Heart Crystal, allowing Sailor Uranus to re-absorb her Pure Heart and keep the talisman. Along with its counterparts, the Garnet Orb and the Deep Aqua Mirror, the sword triggered the formation of the Holy Grail. After Sailor Moon took control of the Grail, Sailor Uranus kept the Space Sword for use in combat. (111) On the advice of Sailor Pluto, Sailor Uranus used the Space Sword to kill the Daimon Germatoid in the ruins of Mugen Academy. (124)
A powerful weapon developed by the Black Moon Clan, taking the form of a floating ball of dark energy. Believing that Koan was destined to die on her last mission, Rubeus gave her a space-time bomb, expecting her to blow herself up along with Sailor Mars. However, Koan hesitated before using the bomb, allowing Sailor Venus and Sailor Jupiter to snatch it away and destroy it. (070)
A hazardous temporal passageway that lies beyond the Space-Time Door. The corridor could be used to cross into other time periods, but was subject to highly unfavourable conditions, such as high pressure and winds. Navigation was extremely difficult, and there was a high risk of getting permanently lost in the temporal maze. The corridor could also be accessed via external time travelling methods, and the Black Moon Clan used this to their advantage when they detected the Sailor Team crossing the corridor to get to the thirtieth century. Esmeraude appeared in the void and managed to separate the Sailor Team from Chibi Usa, then sent her Droid Ryuax after them. The Droid was eventually destroyed, and the group was reunited thanks to the Silver Crystal, allowing them to continue on to the thirtieth century. (082)
The gateway to the Space-Time Corridor, located in an ethereal domain that could be accessed by using the Space-Time Key. The door was protected by Sailor Pluto, whose job it was to prevent unauthorised access to the corridor. The door could only be opened with the Garnet Rod. The Sailor Team encountered the door after Chibi Usa opened a portal to it with the Space-Time Key. Sailor Pluto allowed them to pass through and enter the corridor in order to travel to the thirtieth century. (082)
A key held by Chibi Usa that allowed her to travel through time. (064) When used successfully, it could transport its user to the extra-dimensional void that housed the Space-Time Door. (082) During a thunderstorm created by the Droid Furaiki, a petrified Chibi Usa tried to use the key to return home, but it failed to activate properly, instead neutralising the effects of gravity across a small area. After the Droid had been defeated by Sailor Moon, Chibi Usa calmed down and deactivated the key, restoring gravity. (064) Some time later, Chibi Usa tried again to return to the future. On this occasion the key began to create the time portal but failed to complete it. (068) Her third attempt failed to elicit any response at all, but her fourth attempt came very close to success. However, the use of the key was detected by Rubeus, who interrupted her. (073) Chibi Usa finally used the key successfully some time later, transporting herself, the Sailor Team, Tuxedo Kamen, Luna and Artemis to the Space-Time Door. (082)

An attack adopted by Sailor Jupiter after receiving her second transformation pen. In a similar manner to Supreme Thunder, she gathered electricity with the aerial in her tiara, which she brought together with her hands and finally swung towards the enemy. She first used the attack during a fight with Petz in the Lucky Charms House, when it appeared evenly matched with Petz's own Dark Thunder attack. (065)
An item used by Sailor Moon to perform Moon Spiral Heart Attack. The rod was created at the same time as the Cosmic Heart Compact, as a result of Sailor Moon's love for Tuxedo Kamen and her desire to fight alongside her friends. (091) After Sailor Moon transformed into Super Sailor Moon with the Holy Grail, she was able to use the rod to perform the more powerful Rainbow Moon Heartache. (112) When Pharaoh 90 was approaching Erat, Sailor Moon used the rod to perform Moon Cosmic Power, in an unsuccessful attempt to stop the entity. (125)

Star Light TowerA mysterious skyscraper in the Bay area of Tokyo, which was briefly used as a base by the Dark Kingdom. Zoisite, who had discovered that Chiba Mamoru was Tuxedo Kamen, challenged Mamoru to a duel at the building to determine the rightful owner of the Rainbow Crystals. Mamoru accepted, despite having been injured during his previous encounter. On his way to the duel, Tsukino Usagi noticed his injury and insisted on following him, despite his protests. As soon as they got close to the tower, they were beamed inside by Zoisite. There, Zoisite and Mamoru placed their Rainbow Crystals in the centre of the room and prepared to duel: but alas, Mamoru had been tricked, and the unprotected crystals were easily taken by Kunzite who materialised next to them. The two generals then disappeared, challenging Mamoru to join them at the observation deck. Zoisite then began manipulating the building's climate, freezing the area around Mamoru and Usagi and forcing them to flee into the lift. Meanwhile, having discovered that Usagi and Mamoru were trapped inside, Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter, Sailor Venus, Luna and Artemis broke into the tower. Kunzite noticed their presence and began drawing power from the city, completely transforming the tower. When Usagi and Mamoru emerged from the lift, they found themselves trapped on a narrow pillar, which Zoisite attacked with fire. They were both forced to transform, thus revealing their identities to each other. Tuxedo Kamen attempted to fight Kunzite but was tricked again and mortally wounded. The rest of the Sailor Senshi arrived to see the grief stricken Sailor Moon drawing the Rainbow Crystals towards her, which reconstituted to form the Silver Crystal. This fused with the Moon Stick and triggered Sailor Moon's temporary transformation into Princess Serenity. (034) Zoisite tried to attack again, but was repelled by the powered up Sailor Moon. Kunzite reappeared, assisting Zoisite and abducting the unconscious Tuxedo Kamen. However, the Sailor Senshi were unable to find an exit straight away, as the dimensional space inside the building had been manipulated by Kunzite. Unfortunately, the stress of her past memories returning and the loss of Tuxedo Kamen had had a detrimental effect on Sailor Moon, who refused to continue fighting. Eventually, Sailor Mercury located an exit to the building, but the Sailor Senshi were confronted there by Kunzite. Sailor Jupiter, Sailor Venus, Sailor Mars and Sailor Mercury were all defeated by him, but Sailor Moon regained her confidence for long enough to deflect his attacks with the Silver Crystal, forcing him to make a hasty withdrawal. With the Dark Kingdom's influence gone, the Star Light Tower vanished, leaving the Sailor Senshi surrounded by rubble. (035) It seems likely that the oddly crystalline Star Light Tower may have been constructed by the Dark Kingdom themselves, especially as it disappears so suddenly.
A vehicle used by Eudial when tracking the owners of Pure Heart Crystals. The car was white with the Death Busters insignia on the doors and boot, and had a loudhailer on the roof linked to a microphone inside the car. The rear contained a storage area for a Daimon Case, allowing Eudial to release a Daimon if necessary. The cases were loaded into the vehicle by means of a conveyor belt linked to Professor Tomoe Souichi's Daimon production line. (103) The car then travelled to the surface via a number of secret passageways: the Station Wagon variously emerged out of a subway station (103), an airport runway (104), a reservoir (105) and the elephant house at a zoo (106) and a lake. (108) While Eudial was attempting to steal the talismans at the Marine Cathedral, Mimete sabotaged the Station Wagon, cutting out the brakes and leaving snails in the driver's compartment. After Sailor Moon gained control of the Holy Grail and Eudial was forced to flee, she drove away in the vehicle, not noticing the sabotage. As she sped away, Mimete's voice came over the radio, informing Eudial that she was no longer needed. Unable to brake, the vehicle collided with one of the barriers outside the cathedral and plunged into the sea below, apparently killing Eudial. (111)

Steamy Hot Springs InnA hot springs resort, located near the statue of the Legendary Lovers, visited by the Tsukino family. Tsukino Ikuko and Tsukino Kenji first met at the nearby lake. During the family's stay, they were attacked by the Lake Monster released by Prince Endymion. The monster was fought off by the Sailor Team and Endymion, who realised he was unable to control her. The other Senshi later joined Tsukino Usagi and her family at the resort. (040)
An additional attack performed using the Fire Buster II. The weapon was able to fire a large jet of viscous glue at enemies, sticking them to surfaces and slowing them down significantly. Eudial used this attack to stall the Sailor Team in the Marine Cathedral as she tried to escape with the talismans. Sailor Moon was able to avoid stepping on the carpet of glue by using her immobilised colleagues as stepping stones. (111)

Sailor Moon first achieved this form when the Holy Grail appeared at the Marine Cathedral. She used the Grail's power to defeat Eudial, but found that she was only able to maintain the transformation for a few minutes before collapsing from exhaustion. (111) Soon afterwards, the Death Busters began using more powerful Daimons, which made it necessary for Sailor Moon to assume this form on regular occasions. This transformation was performed using the Holy Grail and the incantation "Crisis Make Up". In this form, Sailor Moon was able to perform a more powerful version of Moon Spiral Heart Attack called Rainbow Moon Heartache. (112) Sailor Moon lost the ability to become Super Sailor Moon when the Holy Grail was consumed by Pharaoh 90, and thus was unable to help Sailor Saturn in her cataclysmic battle with the evil entity. However, she managed to become Super Sailor Moon thanks to the donated power of Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter, Sailor Venus, Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune. Their power allowed her to expose her own Pure Heart Crystal and complete the transformation, and she was able to rescue the reborn Tomoe Hotaru from Pharaoh 90's core just before he was destroyed. (125) This article deals primarily with the abilities and attributes of Super Sailor Moon. For more general biographical information, see the Sailor Moon article.
