U-Baulla had pale pink skin and large yellow petals in place of hair. Her skirt resembled a large rose and her top was composed of leaves. Her arms and legs contained giant thorns that could be extended and retracted at will, and she could fire roses from her fingers. Her attacks included Red Rose of Passion and the constricting Embrace of Roses. If her limbs were severed, she could re-grow the damaged areas as a mass of powerful vines. U-Baulla was released by Mimete at a botanical garden and told to remove the Pure Heart Crystal of Kurebayashi Yoshiki. After Kurebayashi commented that her petals lacked lustre, the Daimon proceeded to follow her orders, and was confronted by Sailor Chibi Moon. After she retaliated by firing roses at the young Sailor Senshi, Tuxedo Kamen appeared with Sailor Moon, objecting to the Daimon's plagiarism of his attack. U-Baulla attempted to use her Red Rose of Passion attack on Sailor Moon, but was beaten back by Sailor Chibi Moon's Pink Sugar Heart Attack. She eventually managed to trap Sailor Moon and Sailor Chibi Moon with her Embrace of Roses, but Tuxedo Kamen retaliated by severing both of her arms, releasing them. However, the Daimon sprouted a mass of vines from her arms, which broke through the floor and spread throughout the greenhouse. These vines grabbed Sailor Moon, Sailor Chibi Moon and Tuxedo Kamen, immobilising them, and victory seemed assured. However, the semi-conscious Tomoe Hotaru, who had been ignored by the Daimon until now, became infused with her supernatural powers and touched one of U-Baulla's vines. The Daimon was suddenly drained of energy, physically withering. Sailor Moon was released, and quickly transformed into Super Sailor Moon, then used Rainbow Moon Heartache to destroy U-Baulla. The Daimon then reverted to the form of a yellow rose and expelled her Daimon Egg. (116)
U-Chouten had pale white skin and green hair. Her costume consisted almost entirely of star-shaped pieces: a huge golden star formed most of the front, while she wore two red stars in lieu of a bra. She wore a large hat capable of firing star-shaped beams as part of her Wish Upon a Star attack. When removed, this revealed a second hat, resembling a planetarium's projection globe, which fired multiple beams at once. U-Chouten was released my Mimete in a planetarium and order to steal the Pure Heart Crystal of DJ Thomas Harris, who was providing the show's narration. After peppering the audience with her Wish Upon a Star beam, she went to remove Harris' Pure Heart Crystal, but was stopped when the Sailor Team intervened. Ordered to concentrate on defeating them, U-Chouten started attacking, with her opponents unable to retaliate. Tuxedo Kamen attempted to assist by striking the star projector in her hat with a rose, but she simply removed the hat, revealing the second projector that allowed her to fire in multiple directions at once. She was only stopped when Tomoe Hotaru's powers flared up, immobilising her. Sailor Moon then transformed into Super Sailor Moon and used Rainbow Moon Heartache to destroy U-Chouten, returning her to the form of a planetarium globe and expelling the Daimon Egg. (119)
Ueno ZooSailor Mars once compared the monkeys at this zoo to Sailor Moon in terms of attractiveness. (013)
U-Estern had aquamarine skin and lilac hair. She wore a poncho and a sombrero shaped like a cactus, and rode a one-legged horse-pogo stick combo called Silver. She was armed with a paint gun, lasso and horseshoes, which she flung around the necks of victims, causing them to lose consciousness. She was released from her suitcase in Juuban Natural Park, on the set of The Akafuji Gunman, and ordered to steal the Pure Heart Crystal of actor Eda Yosaku. U-Estern's presence on the set caused chaos, and Mimete ordered her to pursue three of Eda's fans who had previously insulted her. After soaking the fans with her paint gun, U-Estern was interrupted by Sailor Moon, who fired a Moon Spiral Heart Attack at her. However, the Daimon easily deflected the attack and continued on her rampage, incapacitating Eda's girlfriend Yumi with a horseshoe, then sucking out the actor's Pure Heart Crystal and swallowing it. Subsequent attacks by Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune almost made her regurgitate the crystal, but she succeeded in holding onto it. Looking for an escape route, Mimete noticed Chibi Usa nearby, and ordered U-Estern to take her as a hostage. The Daimon lassoed her, but lost her grip on the rope after Sailor Pluto arrived and fired a Dead Scream at her. On Sailor Pluto's advice, Sailor Moon used the Holy Grail to transform into Super Sailor Moon, then destroyed U-Estern with her Rainbow Moon Heartache attack. U-Estern then reverted to the form of a water pistol and expelled her Daimon Egg. (112) U-Estern's name is clearly a pun on "Western", although her name appears on-screen as the more phonetic "U-Esutaan".
A craft used by Rubeus and the four Phantom Sisters when they travelled back to present-day Juuban. It serves as their base of operations, and was able to cloak itself to avoid detection. (060) The ship's most vital component central crystal that allowed Rubeus to control the vessel directly, and also granted him superhuman strength. (074) After the Phantom Sisters defected, Rubeus was forced to act alone, and brought the UFO into view above Juuban, causing widespread panic. Detecting Chibi Usa's attempted use of the Space-Time Key, he positioned the ship overhead. The Sailor Team came to rescue Chibi Usa, but were pinned down by the ship's gravity beam. Although Tuxedo Kamen managed to retrieve Chibi Usa, Rubeus caught Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter and Sailor Venus in the UFO's tractor beam and took them inside the ship, holding them prisoner. (073) He used them as hostages, demanding that Sailor Moon hand over the Silver Crystal and Chibi Usa, or they would be killed. Both Sailor Moon and Chibi Usa were later beamed on board the ship, and as the UFO rose into a high orbit above the Earth, Rubeus and Sailor Moon began to fight. Rubeus' innate connection with the vessel gave him the upper hand: the ship's central crystal gave him great power, while allowing him to increase the force of gravity to pin Sailor Moon down. However, Sailor Moon was more resilient than he anticipated, and while he fought her Chibi Usa discovered the control crystal and managed to remove it. The crystal shattered as it was removed, and as a result the ship lost control. Internal force fields collapsed, freeing the captured members of the Sailor Team, while Rubeus was left powerless as his connection with the ship was cut off. He announced that they were all doomed, as the ship would shortly explode. However, the Sailor Team escaped along with Chibi Usa by using the Sailor Teleport. As the ship's infrastructure crumbled, Rubeus was confronted by Esmeraude, who appeared on the doomed ship in order to gloat. However, she refused to take Rubeus back to the thirtieth century with her, and left Rubeus to die on his stricken vessel. The ship exploded in Earth's orbit, creating a flash that was visible from Tokyo. (074) Prince Dimande used a similar model of ship when he and Black Lady attempted to open a Dark Gate in twentieth century Tokyo. (086)

U-Estern had light blue skin, dark blue hair and a set of demon horns protruding from her head. She wore a skimpy parody of a business suit, patterned with yellow and black stripes. Her magical powers were connected to stationery: she could attack by hurling pens (the Round Pen, G Pen and Kabura Pen) and her primary attack, Manuscript Hell, involved flinging sheets of razor-sharp paper that could expand and trap an enemy. Her hands could morph into different items, such as scissors, an umbrella and a knife. U-Henshuu was released in order to steal the Pure Heart Crystal of the manga artist Katakuri Ukon. She quickly cornered the artists, sucked out the crystal, and swallowed it. Sailor Moon blocked her escape, but the Daimon countered with her Manuscript Hell attack, trapping her adversary under a large sheet of paper. Sailor Pluto intervened with her Dead Scream attack, while Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune helped Sailor Moon escape from under the paper. The Daimon went to attack again, but was restrained by Sailor Venus' Venus Love Me Chain as the rest of the Sailor Team arrived with Tuxedo Kamen. Mimete ordered her to resume her attack, but U-Henshuu claimed that there were now too many enemies, and that she had already used up most of her powers. While the livid Mimete turned on her Daimon in frustration, Sailor Moon used the Holy Grail to transform into Super Sailor Moon, quickly firing off a Rainbow Moon Heartache attack. U-Henshuu was hit by the attack and was destroyed, reverting to the form of a sheet of manga and expelling her Daimon Egg. (113) U-Henshuu bears a striking and almost certainly intentional resemblance to Lum from the long-running manga series Urusei Yatsura.
U-Ikasaman had pale white skin, green hair and had a body composed of such objects as chess pieces and dice. Her face resembled the queen in a deck of cards, and she wore a pair of rabbit ears on her head. Although she identified as evil, U-Ikasaman was a pacifist, preferring to solve disputes with games (albeit rigged games) instead of violence. Despite this, in her multi-dimensional domain, she wielded great power, able to manipulate the space at will. She could seal adversaries into large glass playing cards, and was apparently able to cast those who disagreed with her back into the chaos of shifting realities around her. The Sailor Team, along with Chibi Usa and Tomoe Hotaru, encountered U-Ikasaman while trying to escape the house before its dimensions became permanently disconnected from normal space. The Daimon offered to release them if one of them could beat her at the games of their choice. However, they hadn't counted on her underhand tactics, and through cheating, she managed to beat Sailor Jupiter at roulette, Sailor Mars at Jenga, Sailor Mercury at chess and Sailor Moon and Sailor Venus at God Driving. Upon losing, each of them was sealed into a giant glass card. Finally, Chibi Usa and Tomoe Hotaru challenged U-Ikasaman to a game of Babanuki. Chibi Usa's skill at bluffing allowed her to win, but an announced U-Ikasaman stated that nobody would be allowed to leave until Hotaru beat her as well. To her surprise, Hotaru also beat her, at which point the Daimon rescinded her offer. Chibi Usa responded by transforming into Sailor Chibi Moon and using Pink Sugar Heart Attack against the Daimon. The attack misfired and hit the giant card containing Sailor Moon, releasing her and allowing her to transform into Super Sailor Moon. In this form, she was able to destroy U-Ikasaman using Rainbow Moon Heartache, returning her to the form of a pile of gambling equipment, expelling her Daimon Egg and returning the space inside the Tomoe residence to normal. (118)
Umino Gurio
Initially he had a crush on Usagi, but never had the courage to ask her on a date. (002) He later got the chance to go on a date with Usagi, although the whole thing was actually just a ploy by Usagi to spy on Hino Rei's date with Chiba Mamoru. (015) Alas, the pairing was never to be, but Umino quickly found romance from an unlikely source- Naru. She became closer to Umino after the death of Nephrite, and soon became aware that Umino was developing feelings for her. (028) Umino succeeded in winning her heart after he took on the guise of Tuxedo Umino Kamen, and tried to battle the Youma Akan in order to protect her. (032) Subsequently, he began making lunch for Naru, always containing his trademark fried shrimp. (055) Umino was often caught up in dangerous situations from which the Sailor Senshi had to rescue him. He was once hypnotised into becoming a delinquent after visiting the House of Fortune (002), and he was a victim of the altered time perception propagated by the clocks from Clock Look. (009) He was later one of a number of people attacked by Reci at a cherry blossom viewing, (051) and had almost all of his energy taken by Yamandakka during an attack on a Sailor Moon Show. (058) Along with Naru, he had his energy drained by a Promise Ring from the Misanga Mansion. (077) Umino was academically very gifted, and attended both the Absolutely Pass Cram School and the Eisai Cram School. (077, 080) However, he fell victim to another Black Moon Clan plot after the latter cram school was infected with Dark Power, altering the behaviour of its students. While under the Dark Power's influence, Umino accused Mizuno Ami of cheating on exams, even falsifying evidence to back up his claims. His personality returned to normal after the Sailor Team removed the evil influence from the students. (080) A while later, Umino became worried that Naru was acting strangely towards him, and asked Usagi for advice. Usagi came up with the idea of entering them both in the Lover's Park Affection Contest, only to find out that they had both separately had this idea, and this was actually the source of the apparent secrecy between them. The couple entered the competition anyway. Umino's clumsiness repeatedly foiled their efforts, although, as Tenoh Haruka noted, he was clearly trying harder than anyone. In the final round, Umino won the crowd over with his declaration of love to Naru, and they were declared the winners. However, as they stepped up to illuminate the park's statue, it transformed into the Daimon Daiheart and attacked them both. Umino pushed Naru out of the Daimon's way, and had his Pure Heart Crystal removed, despite Naru's efforts to stop the monster. Fortunately, Daiheart was defeated by Sailor Moon, and Umino's Pure Heart Crystal was returned to him by Sailor Uranus. The couple were again invited to light up the statute, and Umino promised Naru some fried lobster in celebration. (095)

U-Ndokai had blue skin and dark blue hair. She was dressed as a track athlete, and had a huge shell on her back that could be used for defensive purposes. She could run so fast that she left flames behind her. Her powers included Roll the Ball, in which she rolled a large ball at great speed, destroying everything in her path, and the similarly themed Roll the Human. She could also bind enemies together using her Three Legged Race ability. U-Ndokai was released by Mimete at an athletics track and ordered to remove the Pure Heart Crystal of Hayase Shun. After getting rid of the field's security guards with her Roll the Ball attack, she neutralised Sailor Moon and Sailor Chibi Moon using Three Legged Race, and sucked out Hayase's Pure Heart Crystal. Her objective achieved, she fled the stadium with Mimete, but on the way out, noticed the unconscious Tomoe Hotaru slumped in the stands. Stopping to ask the girl if she was alright, U-Ndokai was suddenly struck by Hotaru's supernatural power, and sent hurtling back onto the field. The Daimon immediately retreated into her shell, weakened and confused by the girl's sudden display of power. She was forced out of her shell by Sailor Chibi Moon, who, still tied to Sailor Moon, aimed a Pink Sugar Heart Attack inside the shell. Upon her emerging, Sailor Moon transformed into Super Sailor Moon and used Rainbow Moon Heartache to destroy U-Ndokai, who returned to the form of a vest and expelled her Daimon Egg. (117)
U-Pasokon had bright pink skin and green hair. Her torso appeared to be made of a computer monitor, and she wore two large computer mice as shoulder-pads. She was able to remove a set of computer mice from the monitor in her torso, which could be thrown at enemies, at which point they transformed into real mice. She used a pair of goggles with a digital readout to aid her targeting of this attack. She also used floppy discs as thrown weapons. U-Pasokon was released during a lecture at Mugen Academy by Sergei Azimov, and was ordered to steal the academic's Pure Heart Crystal. She succeeded in sucking the crystal out and swallowing it, but was confronted by the Sailor Team. She and Mimete fought them, but U-Pasokon was distracted by Sailor Chibi Moon's Pink Sugar Heart Attack, allowing Sailor Moon to transform into Super Sailor Moon and perform Rainbow Moon Heartache. The attack caused U-Pasokon to revert to the form of a computer, and expel her Daimon Egg. (120) It's never made clear exactly how U-Pasokon came to be, since Mimete carried out her mission without Tomoe's knowledge. It's possible that she was created by Mimete when Tomoe was out of his lab, or she may even have been manufactured by Tomoe for Tellu's use, but stolen by Mimete.
The phrase used by Tenoh Haruka to transform into Sailor Uranus, using her Lip Rod. (106)
Urawa Ryou
Around this time, Urawa's abilities became stronger, and he began to foresee a future in which he was transformed into one of the Seven Great Youma by Zoisite, and was forced to attack Sailor Mercury. When Zoisite finally appeared to confront him, Urawa already knew who he was, and tried to escape. Zoisite attempted to remove the Yellow Rainbow Crystal from him, but he was interrupted by Sailor Moon and Sailor Mercury. Sailor Mercury took Urawa to safety, and when he woke up he recognised her as Ami. Although Sailor Mercury would not confirm her identity, he admitted to her that he had used his abilities to cheat on the exams, and told her that she was to kill him if he became a Youma. Sailor Mercury refused, and advised Urawa to fight destiny rather than simply accepting it. Zoisite appeared again and removed the Yellow Rainbow Crystal from Urawa, transforming him into the Youma Bunbo. Despite the transformation, Bunbo retained some of Urawa's humanity and was briefly able to rebel against Zoisite, until he was forced to comply by the Black Crystal. Bunbo was eventually turned back into Urawa by Sailor Moon. Urawa was forced to leave Juuban shortly afterwards as his father moved cities again. He returned Ami's photograph to her, saying he would come back for it when he had beaten her fairly. Ami gave him a better picture in return. (027) Urawa returned to Tokyo a few months later, whereupon he had a disturbing premonition of being abducted by Prince Endymion, As news came in of other former Rainbow Crystal carriers being abducted, he contacted Ami, telling her to protect Rei's Grandfather at all costs. He did not ask her to help him personally, prepared to face the ordeal alone. However, Kino Makoto and Ami decided to search for Urawa. Urawa encountered Endymion on a crowded street. He recognised him immediately from the premonition, but refused to cooperate, remembering Ami's advice to make his own destiny. He cried "Murderer!" and fled in the confusion. Sailor Mercury and Sailor Jupiter soon met up with him, but were confronted by Endymion. Sailor Jupiter decided to fight Endymion while Sailor Mercury escaped with Urawa. Urawa took Mercury to Juuban Land, an amusement park that had closed down for the night. He told her that he wanted to visit an amusement park with her before he died, and that now he was ready to defeat Endymion's plan by sacrificing himself. Mercury accused him of running away from his feelings, and insisted that his death would be mourned by others. Endymion confronted them again, and captured Urawa, sealing him inside the Black Crystal. Although Mercury was unable to fight Endymion directly, she used her Shabon Spray to blind him, then stole the crystal. She destroyed it, releasing Urawa and the others. The following day, Urawa and Ami visited the park together. (041)

U-Tahime had light green skin and dark blue hair. The top of her head resembled a large microphone. She wore a dark gown emblazoned with the word "STAR". Her main power was the Killer Song, a vocal attack able to cause instant death. U-Tahime was released at the Heroine Audition in Minato Town Hall, and ordered to steal the Pure Heart Crystal of the actor and vocalist Araki Jinta. She quickly sucked the crystal out of Araki and swallowed it, but was confronted by the Sailor Team. Mimete told her to use her ultimate attack against them, but the Daimon first required vocal exercises before attacking. When she was finally ready to attack, she realised she had forgotten the Killer Song's words. After a short while, she remembered, but it was too late: Sailor Moon had already transformed into Super Sailor Moon and performed Rainbow Moon Heartache. U-Tahime was hit by the attack and reverted back to the form of a microphone, expelling her Daimon Egg. (114)
U-Tomodachi had light green skin and red hair. Her outfit resembled that of a Japanese primary school student. Her main offensive weapon was her skipping rope, which was barbed and capable of cutting through concrete. Unusually for a Daimon, U-Tomodachi appeared to possess the mentality of a young child, and most of her destruction seemed to be unintentional. She was released in a park and told to remove the Pure Heart Crystal of the actor Kazama Yuu. She approached her victim and asked to be his friend, before attempting to carry out her orders. She was interrupted by Sailor Uranus and Sailor Chibi Moon, and immediately decided to make friends with them as well. She began skipping towards them with her barbed skipping rope, and was only stopped when the Sailor Team arrived. At this point, Mimete decided that she was dangerously outnumbered, and fled the scene, leaving U-Tomodachi to fend for herself. The Daimon was devastated at being abandoned by her friend, and skipped away in tears. While the Sailor Senshi gave chase, U-Tomodachi encountered Tomoe Hotaru, who was in the middle of a bad seizure. Unconsciously, Hotaru used her supernatural powers to stop the Daimon in her tracks, allowing Sailor Moon to catch up with her. Seeing her chance, Sailor Moon transformed into Super Sailor Moon and used Rainbow Moon Heartache to destroy U-Tomodachi, returning her to the form of a script and expelling her Daimon Egg. (115)
