Vampir

(Ogata Megumi)

VampirThe first Cardian used by Ail and An in their bid to harvest energy for the Makaiju. Vampir was a large, pink-skinned creature with a giant flower on the end of her right arm. The flower could shoot out a set of energy-sapping tentacles. If necessary, the flower, which also contained a set of sharp teeth, could be sent along the extended tentacles at high speed to be used as a weapon.

Vampir was ordered to take energy from young women who were in love. She had already begun her rampage when she was spotted by Luna and Artemis, who tried to tackle her themselves. They pursued her to the home of Osaka Naru, who she attacked in her bedroom. Tsukino Usagi was on the phone to Naru at the time of the attack, and came round to investigate. Usagi was attacked too, and Luna was forced to trigger the reawakening of Sailor Moon. Artemis lured Vampir back onto the street, and was attacked by her, having his energy drained. Sailor Moon chased after them and was confronted by Vampir. Vampir trapped Sailor Moon with her tentacles and drained most of her energy, then launching her flower for the final blow. But she was tackled by Luna, giving Sailor Moon the chance to use Moon Tiara Action, which destroyed her. (047)

Venus Love Me Chain

Venus Love Me ChainAn attack adopted by Sailor Venus after receiving her second transformation pen. She summoned a stream of golden hearts around her, which interlocked with each other to form a chain. This was then used in a similar manner to a whip. She first used the attack during a fight with Calaveras in the Lucky Charms House, when it appeared evenly matched with Calaveras' Dark Beaut. (065) When Sailor Venus disguised herself as Sailor Moon in order to fool Kaolinite, the attack was briefly renamed 'Love Me Moon Chain'. (102)

Viluy

(Takamori Yoshino)

ViluyA member of the Witches 5, specialising in nanotechnology. Her real name was Bidoh Yui. Her powers were based around her nano robots, microscopic machines that she controlled with a unit on her wrist. She was able to fire blasts of them from her hands in her primary attack, Mosaic Buster.

A cold, logical individual, Viluy was assigned the task of collecting Pure Heart Crystals following the untimely death of her colleague, Tellu. She relished her promotion, particularly the fact that Professor Tomoe Souichi now ranked her above his assistant, Kaolinite. Going as far as assaulting Kaolinite in the professor's presence, Viluy was determined to assert her authority.

Her plan involved stealing Pure Heart Crystals from the large numbers of students attending the practice exams held at Mugen Academy. She used her nano robots to transform the school's computer network in to a huge system for the harvesting of Pure Heart Crystals, and upon activation, the students had their crystals sucked out of their bodies and into the computer terminals. Viluy then confronted Mizuno Ami, Tenoh Haruka and Kaioh Michiru, who had discovered the Messiah of Silence's chamber beneath the school. She released her Mosaic Buster attack on Haruka and Michiru, and Ami was forced to transform into Sailor Mercury in order to fight her. Viluy fired again, and Sailor Mercury performed Shine Aqua Illusion, freezing the nano robots in mid-air. However, the robots quickly broke out of the ice and attacked her. Sailor Moon and the rest of the Sailor Team then entered, giving Haruka and Michiru the chance to transform into Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune. They both attacked Viluy, while Sailor Moon transformed into Super Sailor Moon and fired a Rainbow Moon Heartache at Viluy's control wristband. Viluy survived the attacks and attempted to fire another Mosaic Buster, but the damage done to her control device caused the nano robots to go haywire, attacking her instead. Viluy was ultimately devoured by the robots. (122)

Viluy is the only character in the series who has been shown not to have a Pure Heart Crystal.

Virtual Reality Theatre

An interactive gaming enterprise set up in Juuban. The main part of the attraction consisted of a large series of interconnected fake caverns, into which images of monsters were projected. Participants were given a visor, some body armour and a laser pistol attached to a backpack.

Shortly after its opening, Ail and An selected it as a good location to gather energy for the Makaiju. Adopting their human disguises, they gained entry along with Tsukino Usagi and Chiba Mamoru. Tsukino Kenji and Tsukino Shingo visited on the same day, as did Mizuno Ami, Hino Rei, Kino Makoto and Aino Minako. Ail and An released the Cardian Hell Ant into the attraction, and the creature began attacking the confused customers and draining their energy. Shingo alerted Usagi and Mamoru to the disturbances, and Usagi secretly transformed into Sailor Moon. She tried to tackle the Cardian, but was distressed to find that her Moon Tiara Action attack no longer worked. The Moonlight Knight made a timely appearance, taking on the monster until the rest of the Sailor Team arrived to finish it off. The events in the building were subsequently blamed on computer problems. (050)
